Frequently asked questions.

How do I book a class?

Booking is easy!

Simply download the Bacchus Marsh Pilates app, create an account, and you’ll be able to view our timetable, pricing options, and book straight in.

What do I need to bring?

All you really need is yourself and a water bottle.

Grip socks are required for all reformer classes. If you forget them, grip socks are available for purchase in-studio.

Wear comfortable activewear that allows you to move freely.

How to cancel a class?

We totally get it — life happens.

If you need to cancel, please do so via the Bacchus Marsh Pilates app at least 5 hours before your class. This gives someone on the waitlist the chance to jump in.

Late cancellations (inside 5 hours) no-shows, or late arrivals will result in the session being forfeited.

First visit with us?

Welcome!

If you’re brand new to Pilates, our Basic Reformer classes are a great place to start and are designed specifically for absolute beginners.

If the Basic Reformer times don’t suit your schedule, Open Reformer and Stretch Reformer classes are also suitable for beginners and offer plenty of options and guidance.

Please arrive 10 minutes early so you can get familiar with the studio and equipment. And don’t stress — everyone starts somewhere. Our instructors will guide you through the class and encourage you to rest whenever you need.

What if I’m running late?

For safety reasons, late arrivals will not be permitted to join the class.

Missing the warm-up increases the risk of injury, and late arrivals can be disruptive to the instructor and other clients. We appreciate your understanding and recommend arriving early to allow time to settle in.

Recovering from an injury?

Every injury is different, and in many cases we can work around them.

If you have an injury that may affect your ability to participate, we recommend contacting us before booking to check suitability. For new or significant injuries, we may request medical clearance.

You may also prefer to start with a private session — feel free to email us - hello@bacchusmarshpilates.com.au - for more information.

Pregnant or just had a baby?

Firstly — congratulations!

As long as you’ve been cleared by your doctor to exercise, pregnant and postnatal clients are welcome in our Open Reformer & Stretch Reformer classes. All of our instructors are trained in pre and post-natal modifications.

Please let us know before class so we can adjust your class in line with Australian pregnancy and physical activity guidelines.

Athletic Reformer and Next Level Reformer classes are not suitable during pregnancy or the postnatal period.

Is there an age limit?

We are happy for clients that are 12+ to attend classes with a parent present or from 16+ on your own. At Bacchus Marsh Pilates we have no upper age limit - if you want to keep your body moving, we can help!
